The Sangguniang Barangay of Labangal, General Santos City, through the Local Chief Executive Hon. Darlene Magnolia R. Antonino-Custodio, Local City Registrar and Congressional Office of 1st District hosted the Libreng Kasalan ng Purok.
Unmarried couples living under one roof were given opportunity to tie the knot. It was solemnized by no other than the City Mayor Honorable Darlene Magnolia R. Antonino-Custodio.

The Libreng Kasalan ng Purok is an activity of the barangay offered to less priviledged unwed couples who are residents of Barangay Labangal to receive patrimony of marriage.
