Turnover of Village Type Corn on Cob Dryer

Last October 19, 2012 the Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office 12 had a turn over and blessing ceremony of one unit Village Type Corn on Cob Dryer to farm growers of Purok Cabuay, Barangay Sinawal, General Santos City.

The farmers where challenged to use the facility with care and continuously maintain it in order to provide development to farmers profit and satisfaction.








The DA with the support of the Local Government of General Santos City hopes that it could help the government's program on food staple sufficiency as well as the income growth and progress of the farmers.

For the farmer-growers of Barangay Sinawal, it is really a big help and a dream come true because it will help solve their problems regarding the production of quality corn seeds. The village type corn on cob dryer is not only for the farmers of Barangay Sinawal but it will also cater nearby barangays within the city of General Santos.
