Arbor Day has been institutionalized in the country to plant trees and ornamental plants and other forms of relative activities. That's why in General Santos, the local government unit and other government and non-government institutions joined in observance of the Arbor Day 2012 by planting bamboos across the Silway River in Barangay Dadiangas North, this City.
